Hello and welcome!

I’m Brooke Ary, a mum of three and an art therapist with a heart for helping individuals, children, families, and groups connect through creativity.

With over 20 years of experience working with neurodivergent and additional needs children, alongside my background as a high school and primary school art teacher, I’ve seen how art can become a powerful language when words aren’t enough.

In my practice, I use art as both a tool for expressing emotions and a space for deep, subconscious connection—supporting emotional resilience, fine motor development, and alignment between your inner and outer worlds.

Whether you’re seeking calm, clarity, or self-discovery, I’m here to guide you in creating meaningful growth, one brushstroke or line at a time.

Benefits of Community Art

Art therapy is a way to explore emotions, process experiences, and connect with yourself through creativity.

It’s a form of psychotherapy that uses art materials like paint, clay, collage, or drawing as tools for self-expression and healing.

For many, art becomes a language when words feel too big, too small, or simply out of reach.

Art therapy can support children, teens, adults, families, and groups facing challenges such as anxiety, stress, trauma, grief, or difficulties with communication and emotional regulation.

It offers a non-verbal way to express what’s inside, which can be especially meaningful for those who find it hard to articulate their feelings.

What Clients are Saying

“Art therapy with Brooke has been life-"Working with Brooke was exactly what my son needed. She created a space where he felt seen, heard, and safe to express himself in ways he hadn’t been able to before. Over time, I watched him grow in confidence and learn how to navigate his emotions more calmly. Brooke’s warmth and care made all the difference for our family, and we’ll always be grateful for the impact she’s had on him—and us."

-Brea

“When I started working with Brooke, I was feeling stuck and unsure of how to process everything I was carrying. Brooke has this way of making you feel completely safe and supported, which allowed me to open up in ways I hadn’t before. Through our work together, I’ve gained so much clarity about myself and my emotions, and I feel more aligned with who I am than ever. It’s been such a transformative experience."

-Vanessa

"Brooke’s ability to connect with my daughter was incredible. My daughter often struggles with sensory overload and big feelings, but Brooke created an environment where she felt completely safe to explore and process at her own pace. Since working with Brooke, I’ve noticed her self-awareness and ability to manage her emotions have grown so much. It’s been wonderful to see her thrive in ways I didn’t think were possible."

-Sarah

"Brooke has an incredible gift for creating a space where you feel truly held and understood. I came to her feeling overwhelmed and disconnected from myself, and through our sessions, I’ve been able to process so much of what was weighing me down. I’ve gained a deeper understanding of my patterns and behaviours, and for the first time in a long time, I feel like I’m moving forward with clarity and confidence. Brooke’s support has been life-changing."
